John Coulter focuses his practice in the areas of labor and employment law, family law, and commercial litigation.

Mr. Coulter graduated from Reed College with a B.A. and from Boston College Law School, cum laude. While in law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Boston College Environmental Affairs Law Review. After graduating from law school, he held the position of Law Clerk for U.S. District Judge Billy Roy Wilson, Eastern District of Arkansas. He practiced with Rose Law Firm from 1999 to 2005 and became a member of that firm in 2004.

Mr. Coulter is a member of the Pulaski County, Arkansas and American Bar Associations. He is a former Chair of the Labor & Employment Law Section of the Arkansas Bar Association. He is also a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and William R. Overton Inn of Court. From 2001 to 2005, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of Volunteer Organization of the Center for Arkansas Legal Services (VOCALS). Mr. Coulter was selected as a 2008 Mid-South Rising Star and in 2009 and 2010 as a Mid-South Super Lawyer by Mid-South Super Lawyers & Rising Stars. Mr. Coulter is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been named in The Best Lawyers of America for Labor and Employment Law since 2009.

Mr. Coulter received the VOCALS 2011 Attorney of the Year award from the Pulaski County Bar Association for his pro bono work.
